Utica firefighters responded about 5:30 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2013 to an apartment fire at a municipal housing complex in the block of 1600 Armory Drive in Utica, New York.

A four-year-old female was rescued from the second floor of the Adrean Terrace Apartments during firefighting operations. Firefighters entered a second floor window to rescue the girl, who was transported to Upstate Medical University Hospital and listed in critical condition.
