Extra-alarm fire at Frank E. Rodgers Blvd & Davis (cell phone video).
Harrison firefighters responded to an extra-alarm fire on Davis Street west of Frank E Rodgers Blvd N in Harrison, New Jersey. Firefighters were on scene working on a fire when a backdraft occurred and injured fire Jersey City firefighters that came to the aid of Harrison firefighters.
The Red Cross reports they assisted more than 15 people displaced by the fire.
The fire apparently started on the ground floor of a restaurant and spread to apartments and the Dios Luz and Vida church where Sunday church services were underway.
