Suspicious Fire at American Fabric Company on East 9th St, Los Angeles


FIRE VIDEO: Commercial building, 50×100 feet with fire “through the roof” on 9th Street in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles City firefighters responded on Novebmer 8, 2013 to a commercial building fire at 719 East 9th Street at the American Fabric Company.
One day later firefighters responded to the address where another fire was reported. After the fire was extinguished, a dead body — believed to be a burglary suspect — was discovered at the scene.

The same building had a fire incident in February 2013.


Firefighters on the roof encountered an arching wire at the “drip loop” and a man burn injuries to his hands walked up to firefighters working overhaul. He also had burns on his neck and face, and was transported LAFD City paramedics to a local hospital.
