Natural Gas Explosion Destroyed House, Kills Woman on Paris Ct, Aurora (Colorado)

Aurora (Colorado) firefighters responded about 6:00 a.m. Tuesday to a report of an explosion and house fire at 1555 South Paris Court. On arrival they reported a fully-involved house fire.

The fire killed one female resident and communicated to an adjacent house, where a family of four was able to evacuate safely. The main fire building was destroyed and the adjacent exposure home was seriously damaged.

Fire investigators determined that the incident was caused by a natural gas explosion.
