Two-Alarm Fire at Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Station 426; Reserve Unit R426 Destroyed

Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department responded to a two-alarm fire early Sunday morning at Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department Station 426 at 5316 Carolina Place, Springfield, Virginia.

Multiple sources are reporting R426 (Reserve) is a total loss. The fire was contained to one bay at the split-bay design fire station. The origin is initially believed to be electrically related.
