Entry to the front door of a residence, fully-involved garage fire, and exposed detached garage ignites.
Spokane Fire Department responded about 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013 to a detached garage fire that extended to a shed, and was threatening the house and a neighbors garage 3132 South Manito Boulevard in Spokane. The fully-involved garage fire with extension to the house, also ignited the neighbor’s detached garage. Because of reports of a victim in the garage, the incident was upgraded to a second alarm response. No victim was found.
One firefighter suffered a lacerated hand.
