Magician Wayne Houchin Burned During Appearance on Dominican Republic’s “Closer To The Stars” TV Program

American magician Wayne Houchin was recuperating in the Dominican Republic after a local television show host lit his head on fire with a flammable cologne.

No word on why TV host Franklin Barazarte doused Houchin’s head in the “Aqua de Florida” liquid and how it ignited. The program has not commented on the incident. Barazarte then runs his hands over Houchin’s hair, while someone tells him in Spanish not to touch his head.

Agua de Cologne or Florida Water is a cologne with an emphasis on sweet orange (rather than the lemon and neroli of the original Cologne Water), and adds spicy notes including lavender and clove. Neroli oil is a plant oil produced from the blossom of the bitter orange tree. Neroli oil is reportedly one of the ingredients in the closely guarded secret recipe for Coca-Cola.
