Off Duty Action: Paramedic Sarah Ray’s Father and Grandparents Were in a Crash on the Way to Her Wedding Reception

Sarah Ray got a call that her dad and grandparents were in a crash in Clarksville, Tennessee — between her wedding ceremony and wedding reception. She switched from “Sarah the bride” to “Sarah the paramedic.” She and her paramedic husband jumped into action and responded to the scene. Sarah’s grandmother was injured, but the injuries were not life-threatening. Sarah’s mom snapped the picture below, which Mom says captures the essence of Sarah.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – When Sarah Ray's father and grandparents were in a car crash on the way to her wedding reception, the off-duty Tennessee paramedic rushed to the scene in her wedding dress.
