Suspect Arrested in Home Depot Arson Fire in San Jose

A suspect has been arrested following the 5-alarm fire on April 9, 2022 that destroyed a Home Depot store on Blossom Hill Road, near the Westfield Oakridge Mallin South San Jose.

More than 100 firefighters battled the fire for about 12 hours. There there were no serious injuries in the blaze, it forced a shelter-in-place for hours for residents near the fire, and caused the evacuation of more than 60 pets from the Wagly Pet Campus next door.
