El Segundo Police Officer Armando Rodriguez Rescues Injured Woman from Crashed, Burning Car


DASHCAM VIDEO: Police officer rescues woman from burning car in El Segundo, California.

El Segundo Police Officer Armando Rodriguez responded shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2013 to a single-car crash near Aviation Boulevard and El Segundo Boulevard.

The female driver crashed her car head-on into a pole and suffered major trauma at the car ignited and started burn.

“I’ve got the victim out of the car. I need paramedics. She’s unconscious,” Rodriguez radios in, turning his attention back to the woman, “Is there anybody else in there?”

El Segundo (population 16,654) is one of the Beach Cities of Los Angeles County and part of the South Bay Cities Council of Governments.
