Fire engulfed the exclusive El Lodge ski hotel, located in the Sierra Nevada ski resort town in southern Spain on Wednesday. Firefighters brought in from Grenada battled the fire, which reportedly spread from a chimney fire on Wednesday morning.
All staff and guests were safely evacuated in a fire that destroyed El Lodge Ski and Spa Resort in southern Spain. The fire is believed to have started in a chimney, and spread to the wooden frame. The hotel grand opening was in 2012.
