Four People Killed in Small Plane Crash on Interstate 285 Near Peachtree Industrial Blvd in Dekalb County, Georgia

Firefighter/paramedics and police responded about 10 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2015 to Interstate 285 near Peachtree Industrial Boulevard after a plane crashed and burned on the interstate.

FAA spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen reported the Piper PA-32 aircraft departed Runway 3R at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport, and crashed about a mile away.

Four people were found dead at the scene.
