Shooter in Texas Dead After Shooting 20-24 People in Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas

Wilson County Sheriff and other police agencies responded about 11:30 a.m. CST Sunday November 5, 2017 to a report that a male offender shot multiple people at the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs, 216 4th St, Sutherland Springs, TX.

A law enforcement official confirmed the gunman is deceased by gunshot wound after a car chase with police, but initially it was unknown if he shot himself or if he was shot by police. The chase ended with the gunam dead in Guadalupe County, north of Sutherland Springs in Wilson County.
