A man in a minivan was shot dead in Crown Heights, Brooklyn April 9, 2013, according to police sources.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was in the the minivan parked in front of 327 Hawthorne Ave. near Nostrand Avenue at about 12:50 p.m. when shots rang out, sources said.
EMTs arrived to find the man dead in the vehicle.
